TOOLS FOR PAIN-FREE TRAVEL

Who wants to start out a relaxing vacation with a sore shoulder or back due to travel? Not us! This workshop – Tools for Travel – will cover several common aches and pains that result from plane trips and car rides. We will look at the postures frequently adopted as we travel, and how to do our best to arrive at our destination ready to enjoy our trip.

This workshop will focus on:

  • Sitting in a car for a several hour road trip
  • Making that plane seat a little more comfortable
  • Wheeling carry-on bags around without pulling your shoulder
  • Getting carry-on bags into overhead bins
  • Unwinding exercises to do daily
  • Specific exercises to address a variety of travel activities, including walking on a beach, hiking, and more walking that normal!

Comfortable clothing is recommended, as exercises will be included.
